Job Description

An Assistant Manager at Domino’s leads the store, ensuring a high-quality customer experience, efficient operations, and profitability. You are accountable for cost controls, inventory, staffing, training and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily store operations, including cash and inventory control.
  • Recruit, schedule, and manage staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Drive sales through marketing initiatives and customer service excellence.
  • Prepare and process orders accurately, both in-store and via telephone.
  • Operate all equipment safely and keep work stations organized.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics and store profitability.
  • Ensure proper use of computer or touch‑screen systems for orders.
General

Job Duties
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area and walk‑in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Essential Functions & Skills
  • Perform accurate arithmetic and make correct monetary change.
  • Use written and verbal communication skills to process orders.
  • Utilize motor coordination to handle fast, precise tasks.
  • Enter orders using keyboard or touch‑screen.
Work Conditions
  • Exposure to variable temperatures, dust, and food odors.
  • Work in cramped quarters and hot surfaces up to 500°F.
  • Movements involving heavy lifting, pushing, and carrying.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing most of the shift.
  • Walking and occasional climbing of stairs or ladders.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds, carry foods up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 7.5 pounds.
  • Reach overhead and beneath counter, bend forward.
  • Perform manual tasks requiring forearm and wrist strength.
Qualifications
  • Experience in retail or food service management is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly in various hours and environments.
  • Proficiency with basic math and computer use.
Additional Information
  • Ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
  • Ability to direct activities, work under stress, and meet quality control standards.
