Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service by actively supporting Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks at the registers.
- Assist customers with any concerns or issues at the checkout.
- Oversee store cleanliness, including restrooms and parking lots, and manage register supply levels.
- Ensure visibility at exit points for security and loss prevention.
- Schedule and supervise meal and rest breaks in line with company policies and state regulations.
- Participate in hiring and training new Cashiers, and handle disciplinary actions when necessary.

- Must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have 1-2 years of recent cashier experience complemented by leadership training.
- Reliable and dependable with the ability to adapt to a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Outgoing and friendly demeanor, with a positive attitude and strong customer interaction skills.
- Proficient in operating front-end equipment including registers, calculators, and scanners.
- Excellent communication skills, able to take direction and give constructive feedback within a team setting.
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks, multi-tasking, prioritizing effectively, and staying organized.
- Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs, along with moving grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs of force.
- Strong attention to detail with solid math skills; able to handle cash accurately and efficiently.
