- Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed patrol post.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner while following post orders and applicable protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and document security‑related incidents, patrol findings, and/or operational concerns in required logs and reports.
- Work closely with site personnel, law enforcement representatives, and/or emergency responders when needed to support orderly operations and appropriate incident response.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
