** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, local law enforcement, and/or emergency services as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry, checking identification, credentials, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.

+ Support investigations and daily operations by preparing clear reports, preserving incident details, and following directions related to government facility protocols, public interaction, and/or restricted areas.

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

+ Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
