Location: Largo, FL
Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Thursday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
Schedule Type: Part-Time Enhanced (flexible, dependable)
How This Role Works- Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): Hired for a designated site and weekly shift; six‑month commitment.
- Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: Pick‑up extra shifts via scheduling platform to increase earnings and experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time one week, full‑time the next—flexibility is yours.
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly, with problem‑solving approach, and report observed conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and activity across the location, assist with directing foot traffic, and support a professional environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Document incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns in a clear and timely manner, following site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field.
- Subject to background investigation in accordance with all applicable laws.
- Consideration of qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
