Job SummaryWe are hiring a Field Service Mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel trucks and heavy equipment in the field across the state of Florida. This role is ideal for a self‑starter who enjoys working independently, traveling, and solving tough mechanical challenges.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems on‑site
- Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs
- Travel daily to customer locations (some overnight stays required)
- Maintain service vehicle, tools, and inventory
- Complete work orders and communicate job status with dispatch
- 5+ years of diesel and heavy equipment repair experience
- Strong knowledge of engine diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus)
- Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic computer or tablet skills for service logs
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekends/on‑call
- Travel required (statewide)
