Skilled work in the repair and maintenance of light duty gasoline and diesel powered mechanical and hydraulic activated equipment and vehicles used in the care of landscape at city facilities and on municipal golf courses. Responsible for the maintenance and repair of various pieces of equipment in both the Golf Course and the Parks Divisions. Work is performed with considerable independence within well established guidelines.
Position reports to a Parks Supervisor or Greens Superintendent.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) and two (2) years experience in the maintenance of pumps, valves, motors and/or controls for lawn mowers, tractors, weed eaters, etc.; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Valid Driver's License
