Tropic-Kool Mechanical Services is looking for a highly qualified Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our growing Tampa, FL Service Team!

• Must be proficient with complicated DOA systems.
• Chilled water experience preferred.
• Maintaining, trouble shooting and repairing commercial HVAC systems.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
• Assisting with customers' queries.

• 7+ years of experience in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing complex HVAC equipment in a commercial/industrial setting (Chillers, VRV's, Controls, Refrigeration, etc.).
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems.
• Universal Refrigerant Certification.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Clean and valid driving license and record required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
