Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Electronic Calibration Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing calibrations on a variety of electronic instruments and equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Precise Cal Services is looking for qualified individual to join our team of calibration specialists. To be considered 'Qualified' you must have had hands on experience in calibrating, not just using, applicable equipment in some or all of the fields below.
For example: (this is not an all inclusive list);
Pressure Field-pressure gauges, pressure switches, vacuum gauges, differential gauges, etc Mechanical-Force gages, Dynamo meters, Load cells, Torque wrenches/indicators, etc Physical Dimensional-Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gages, Mic Standards, Gage Blocks, etc Electronics-Multimeters, Clamp-ons, Oscilloscopes, panel meters, etc. We do not do RF calibrations.
Temperature-Thermometers, Chart recorders, Temperature Transmitters, etcWe support a wide range of tools. We want our applicants to have as much level of exposure and hands on with as many tools as possible, but we are also more than willing to develop a technician further along in their career. There are times we open up to untrained individuals and accept 'green' technicians.
This is not that time. We are specifically looking for technicians that have strong, working theory, in Electronics.
- Perform calibrations on a wide range of electronic test and measurement equipment both on location in our lab and traveling to customer facilities located throughout the state of Florida (some work will require overnight stays)
- Document calibration results accurately and in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards
- Troubleshoot and identify issues with equipment performance
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and customer requirements
- Previous experience in calibration, electronics, or a related technical field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and specifications
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 standards a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical training or degree preferred, will accept 3 years of related experience
- Starting rate: $23 to $27/hour (DOE)
