On-Call Transfer Driver; Largo, FL

This role operates on an on‑call, as‑needed basis during standard business hours. Drivers must be available, reachable by phone, and prepared to report to the designated location with short notice when assignments are scheduled. Work is not guaranteed each day, and hours will fluctuate based on business demand. Flexibility and responsiveness are essential to succeed in this role.

• Fill in receipt and intake paperwork electronically.
• Transport U-Haul equipment between U-Haul centers, dealerships and the repair shop.
• Perform visual inspections of equipment.
• Maintain a driver log.
• Willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.

• Valid driver’s license
• Able to use mobile transfer programs
• D.O.T. certification if required—can be sponsored by U‑Haul

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs., assisted or unassisted.
