Shipping Material Handler - 1st Shift

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Shipping Material Handler is responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role supports the shipping department by ensuring orders are accurately staged, packed, and loaded while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Pull, sort, and stage products for outgoing shipments.
* Load and unload materials and finished goods.
* Verify order quantities and product information for accuracy.
* Palletize, wrap, and prepare shipments for transport.
* Move materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
* Assist with packing and labeling customer orders.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
* Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
* Assist with inventory organization and general warehouse duties as needed.
* Work closely with shipping and production teams to meet daily deadlines.
Qualifications
* Previous warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience preferred.
* Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Reliable attendance and punctuality.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
* Experience with pallet jacks and RF scanners is a plus.
