Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Facilities Clerks to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin a career in warehouse operations.
In this role, you will support warehouse cleanliness, recycling efforts, and waste disposal while assisting with pallet organization and operating warehouse equipment as needed.
Responsibilities
* Collect and dispose of cardboard, trash, and pallets throughout the warehouse.
* Maintain cleanliness of warehouse work areas, offices, break rooms, restrooms, loading docks, and parking lot.
* Remove trash from warehouse bays and underneath pallet storage areas.
* Assist with pallet organization and maintain pallet flow for warehouse operations.
* Coordinate with warehouse clerks and forklift operators when products need to be moved.
* Operate warehouse equipment safely, including:
* Cardboard baler
* Trash compactor
* Floor scrubber
* Motorized conveyor
* Pallet wrapper
* Follow all company safety procedures and recycling guidelines.
* Perform additional warehouse housekeeping duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Entry-level position-warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
* High school diploma or GED preferred.
* Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
* Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices.
Physical Requirements
* Stand and walk for extended periods.
* Frequently bend, squat, stoop, push, and pull.
* Lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
* Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, including heat and cold.
* Ability to work overtime when needed.
