This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Larkspur, CA. The Sales Associate will welcome and assist customers on the sales floor, offering product knowledge, styling advice, and guidance to build tailored wardrobes that reflect Sunspel’s modern luxury aesthetic. Daily responsibilities include managing transactions, maintaining store presentation and merchandising standards, replenishing stock, and ensuring that the store environment is clean, organized, and inviting.

The role also involves meeting sales targets, supporting promotional activities, handling customer inquiries and exchanges, and collaborating with the store team to deliver a consistent, high-quality brand experience. The Sales Associate will represent Sunspel’s values of craftsmanship, care, and service in all customer interactions.

• Customer service and retail sales skills, including the ability to build rapport, understand customer needs, and provide personalized styling and product recommendations.
• Point-of-sale, cash handling, and basic administrative skills to manage transactions, returns, and daily store operations accurately and efficiently.
• Visual merchandising and store presentation skills to maintain a premium, brand-aligned environment and support effective product display and replenishment.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
• Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage busy periods, and maintain high standards of service and store upkeep.
• Interest in luxury fashion and quality craftsmanship, with the ability to learn and convey detailed product knowledge and brand stories.
• Previous experience in retail or customer-facing roles is preferred; familiarity with luxury or premium brands is an advantage.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move stock, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by store operations.
