Schedule:

Monday ‐ Thursday 0800 ‐ 1700, Friday 0800 ‐ 1200

• Job Setting:
Clinic and Hospital; 168 Bed Hospital (23 ICU);
Clinic has 22 exam rooms

• Types of Cases: 15‐20 patients per day in clinic, ages 18+; assigned week for hospital rounding; reading walk‐in EKGs & hospital ECHOs

• Credentialing: 30 days with clean file and all licenses

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible:
Board Eligible minimum;
Board Certified preferred

Certifications:

ACLS, BLS

• Licensure: NM State License, will consider IMLC

• Training:
Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA‐accredited fellowship in cardiovascular disease AND/OR current certification or active participation in the examination process (with achievement of certification within 7 years) leading to subspecialty certification in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine with special qualifications in cardiology

Outpatient Cardiology, Echocardiography

• Skills Preferred:
Inpatient Cardiology, ICU, Non‐invasive, TEE, Nuclear Cardiology, STEMI, Invasive cardiology (diagnostic only), PA catheter placement, IABP placement, Cardiac catheterization, Heart biopsy, Interventional cardiology, Angioplasty ‐ PTCA, Intracoronary stent placement, Atherectomy, Electrophysiology, Cardiac ablation, Permanent pacemaker placement, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator
