Supervise students during their lunch period to ensure the safety and welfare of students during non‑classroom activities.

• Minimum: Must be at least 18 years old. Able to pass a background check.
• Preferred: Bilingual Spanish/English.

$15.20 per hour

Limited variety standard office equipment, including hand‑held radios, computers, copiers, and phone systems.

The work is primarily performed in a school setting. Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing. Requires use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations, at times bending, squatting, and reaching. Ability to lift, carry, push up to 40 pounds. Physical strength and ability to assist injured students. Ability to sit and stand for long periods.

Duties performed in typical school settings that may include offices, cafeteria, classrooms, gym, and auditorium. Candidate will be subject to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, noise, and hazards. Some sitting, standing, bending and reaching may be required.

• Demonstrates reliability as evidenced by attendance records and punctuality.
• Properly notifies supervisor and/or designee of absences or tardiness.
• Begins and completes work within the allotted time.
• Consistently appears in attire appropriate to the work environment.
• Demonstrates skill in the use of equipment including its capabilities, limitations and appropriate/ special application.
• Protects the district’s resources through appropriate and careful use of supplies and equipment.
• Utilizes appropriate body mechanics to aid in the prevention of muscle strain/injury.
