The Department of Mathematical Sciences at New Mexico State University invites applicants for a college-track faculty appointment to be filled at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2027. The position will support the department's teaching needs; there is no research component. Individuals interested in contributing to a diverse academic community are particularly encouraged.

Work Schedule:
Standard (M-F, 8-5)
Expected duties include teaching four courses per semester. Service to the Department and the University.
QualificationsRequired
Education and Experience:
Candidates must have a Master’s in Mathematics prior to August 2027 and a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching preparatory and undergraduate math and/or statistics courses.
Preferred Qualifications: A PhD in Mathematics or closely related area prior to August 2027.
