Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required.

Position: The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is the U.S. Government agency in charge of designing, building, launching, and maintaining America’s intelligence satellites.

Apogee's ideal Image Scientist is a key contributor performing image analysis and data characterization and trending. If you love Image Science and developing and/or applying tools to provide analytical insights then you'll love Apogee and this position!

• Perform analysis on imagery, spectral imaging, metadata, and systems in support of trade studies and performance characterization
• Provide system performance monitoring, verification, validation, and test (VV&T), and fault isolation
• Work independently or lead small teams to generate and deliver study plans, VV&T plans, and reports
• Present final reports and presentations to customers
• This position may require travel 2-4 times a year

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Image Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related STEM program
• Experience in:
  Remote Sensing, Image Science, Signal Processing, MATLAB, Python, Systems Engineering, Testing, VV&T
