Position Summary
Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer with 4–10 years of experience. The engineer will work on water and wastewater projects in Las Cruces or El Paso, NM, in a fast‑paced team environment.
Essential Job Functions- Work independently while collaborating effectively with the Wilson & Company team.
- Contact and visit clients for business development and marketing, including attendance at local industry conferences and seminars.
- Demonstrate high interpersonal and communication skills, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Manage and develop client relationships.
- Oversee a wide range of water and wastewater projects to meet client schedules and budgets.
- Mentor engineers in training and design staff regarding project execution and client expectations.
- Apply engineering principles and maintain a strong work ethic.
- BS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering; MS preferred.
- 4–10 years of experience.
- TXPE License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Experience with plan production and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD MEP 3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or Revit.
- Experience with hydraulic and environmental calculations and technical report writing.
- Experience with hydraulic modelling using Water
GEMS, Sewer
GEMS, Info Water, or Info Sewer.
- Location:
Las Cruces, New Mexico. - Annual Salary Range: $101,000 – $150,000 (depending on experience).
