Systems Engineer
Noblis ESI is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join an elite team providing Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
The selected candidate will work multiple mission system projects and tasks—from broad, strategic issues such as policies and concepts of operations, to tactical concerns such as near‑term schedules, testing, system integration, and transition—to support vital operational missions.
Responsibilities- Support the Chief Engineer and government staff to execute systems engineering and integration (SE&I) activities across the customer site and work collaboratively with other customer organizations across the mission enterprise.
- Work with SE&I teams to execute site system engineering processes; oversee site processes used to document and manage the site baseline to accommodate evolving mission needs.
- Collaborate with System Program Offices (SPO), local operations teams, and other Government Agencies to integrate various GEOINT space missions into a ground‑based architecture; ensure the delivering organization understands site integration needs and processes.
- Assist in developing standards, processes, and procedures, and operations & maintenance plans; review and evaluate technical documentation (e.g., RFCs, CONOPS, requirements, issues, and risks).
- Represent government’s interests at various forums; provide analysis and recommendations to multiple government customers.
- Serve as liaison between the GPOC and internal/external project managers to guide and monitor progress.
- Occasional CONUS travel.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 3 years of experience OR Master’s degree in a STEM field and 1 year of more experience.
- Expertise in the full systems engineering lifecycle—from concept, requirements, design & development, to deployment and operational maintenance.
- Experience with project management supporting the delivery, integration, and transition of mission systems and/or mission applications.
- Ability to work independently to support multiple government customers and large, complex projects to address organization needs throughout the system development lifecycle.
- Self‑starter, proactively addresses customer requirements without supervision; readily defines solutions for broad, abstract topics.
- Polished communicator (written & verbal), impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment; comfortable briefing or communicating with senior government managers.
- Strength in collaborating and coordinating with multiple stakeholders—a consensus builder.
- Real‑time operations experience as a GEOINT spacecraft operator, spacecraft engineer, or ground systems operator; familiarity with space operations and policies, ground operations, and system requirements/governance policies.
- Experience supporting Enterprise test activities, including representing stakeholder interests, ensuring operational requirements are integrated into test planning and execution, and identifying and deconflicting resource constraints.
- Familiar with application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Engineering/Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Agile development, and cloud technologies.

CompensationPosted Salary Range: USD $81,630.00 – USD $ /Yr.
Remote/hybrid status is subject to change based on Noblis and/or government requirements.
