- Supports the Company's environmental compliance programs
- Conducts regulatory-required monthly Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) inspections across Permian Compression facilities
- Supports leak rechecks to ensure full Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) compliance
- Provides technical expertise and regulatory guidance to operations and management
- Investigates environmental issues and identifies opportunities for compliance improvement
- Develops corrective actions to prevent recurrence of environmental incidents
- Advises appropriate managers and supervisors of the Company's goals and requirements
- Monitors compliance and directs related reports
- Designs and/or reviews engineering designs and cost estimates for environmental equipment or systems
- Develops environmental information, manuals, training material and programs
- Represents the Company with appropriate trade associations, industry work groups and regulatory agencies
- High School Diploma or GED required with 5 years of relevant environmental experience in a process industry (e.g. refining, midstream, petrochemical or other heavy industrial)
- Bachelor’s degree in a HES related field with no relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with no relevant experience
- Conceptual knowledge of environmental compliance and regulatory framework
- Valid driver's license required
- OGI and LDAR experience preferred
Demonstrates expertise in environmental compliance, including conducting Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) inspections and ensuring Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) compliance. Capable of developing corrective actions and providing regulatory guidance to enhance operational compliance.
