Bilingual Personal Banker

First National Bank Texas is seeking a Bilingual Personal Banker to deliver exceptional, community-focused service in our branch network. In this role, you will assist customers in English and Spanish with opening and managing checking, savings, and other personal accounts, processing transactions, and supporting loan and credit applications. You will educate customers on digital banking tools, identify needs to recommend appropriate products, and build long-term relationships.

This position requires strong customer service, cash-handling accuracy, sales acumen, and adherence to regulatory and bank compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) assistance to customers with opening and maintaining personal banking accounts
• Advise customers on checking, savings, loans, and digital banking solutions to meet financial needs
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments accurately while balancing daily cash drawer
• Support loan and credit applications, ensuring required documentation and initial review
• Educate customers on online and mobile banking tools and security best practices
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell appropriate bank products and services
• Ensure adherence to bank policies, KYC, and regulatory compliance standards
• Help resolve customer issues and escalate complex situations to branch leadership
• Participate in community-focused initiatives and relationship-building efforts
• Collaborate with branch team to achieve sales and service goals
