Independent License Salary: $70,000 - $84,700 (3 levels based on experience and education)

Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate licensed outpatient therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing therapy services to children, adolescents, adult individuals, couples, and/or families. We provide services to all age groups and welcome people with diverse expertise. The ideal candidate will also have a deep-rooted understanding of treating clients from a trauma-responsive lens, utilizing evidence-based practices, and providing affirming care.
As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), we take an integrated behavioral health approach. You'll collaborate with case managers and supportive providers to address clients' comprehensive needs — from basic resources to crisis intervention — ensuring whole-person care that extends beyond the therapy room.
Build Expertise While Maintaining Clinical Versatility. Your caseload will balance general clinical practice with opportunities to deepen expertise in your area(s) of interest, supported by ongoing education, specialized supervision, and agency investment in your professional development. We actively support your professional growth through dedicated training, supervision, and opportunities to develop specialized skills in evidence-based and trauma-informed modalities, including:
- Infant Mental Health
- Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP)
- Play Therapy
- Trauma-focused interventions (TF-CBT, EMDR, etc.)
- Provide individual, couple, and family therapy using evidence-based, trauma-responsive approaches
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and develop collaborative treatment plans
- Maintain a part-time caseload of 25 clients (20 billable hours per week)
- Maintain written, accurate and up-to-date clinical records on individual services and prepare written reports
- Commitment to professional growth and reflective practice
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic client care
- Contribute to a collaborative, community-based care model
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field
- Current New Mexico State License (LMHC, LPCC, LAMFT, LMFT, LMSW, or LCSW)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work 40 hours weekly
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Prior experience preferred but not required
- Desire to work within a CCBHC model and contributing to community-based care
- Supervision hours for additional licensure/certifications
- Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) training and rostering support
- Infant Mental Health Endorsement pathways
- Supervision provided by a CPP Rostered, Endorsed Reflective Supervisor (RSC)
- Consultation with a Registered Play Therapist (RPT)
- Support for Registered Play Therapist (RPT) designation
- Ongoing professional development and support
