About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Emergency Services to oversee ER operations. This includes managing a dedicated clinical team, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes, maintaining accreditation standards, and managing budgets and productivity benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor emergency department staff
- Develop, implement, and enforce ER policies and procedures
- Maintain budgetary and productivity accountability
- Drive quality improvement and throughput initiatives
- Facilitate collaboration with pre-hospital providers and system stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
- Required: Current or eligible New Mexico RN license
- Required: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Preferred: MSN, MBA, or degree in Healthcare Administration
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in healthcare with at least 3 years in a leadership role; for-profit hospital experience strongly preferred
- Proven success building and leading teams with a focus on quality and performance
- Strong clinical knowledge, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- TNCC to be obtained upon hire if not already acquired
