Work Schedule:
Standard (M-F, 8-5)
- Coordinate the disposition and destruction of NMSU records; ensuring all procedures are followed and serve as a liaison with business units and the Records Management Office.
- Provide direct customer support by adapting general records retention and disposition guidance to user‑specific situations.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of Records Management and Banner Document Management System (BDMS) training.
- Provide first level BDMS support, including scanning, indexing, reporting, queries, testing, deletions, and corrections.
Required
Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree + 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of experience related to the job duties and responsibilities as outlined.
Working Conditions and Physical EffortEnvironment: Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
Physical Effort: Light physical effort. Effort applies to no more than two (2) hours per day.
Lifting Requirements: Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds.
Risk: Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
