Subject Matter Expert – Product Design Project

Western Governors University (WGU) is seeking an independent contractor to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a Product Design CCC project. This position is 100% remote and part‑time/project‑based.

• Conduct Course Congruence Check to determine if course content adequately prepares students for assessment requirements.
• Assess rubric aspects for appropriateness to assessment and task requirements.
• Collaborate with WGU staff to schedule meetings as needed and facilitate communication throughout the project.

• Master’s degree or above in information technology, information technology management, or an MBA with experience in IT (earned in last ten years).
• Minimum of seven years of director‑level or higher experience in product management or faculty teaching master program in IT management.

• Dates: 10/22 to 10/28 (subject to slight change)
• Final date to receive applications: 10/15

• Compensation: $375.00
