As an Analyst in the Management and Technical Support Office of the NASA Engineering and Safety Center, you will work closely with multiple high-performing, fast-paced, technical teams executing high-visibility and often urgent tasks. You will secure and manage critical resources via varied procurement instruments by communicating requirements across NASA, industry, other government agencies, and academia to meet goals and objectives. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for the GS-13
, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level:
- Planning and executing complex technical tasks involving multiple organizations and/or agencies, including communicating task status, requirements, and issues to management or technical leads;
- Developing, implementing, and tracking varied procurement instruments and supporting documentation involving multiple organizations and/or agencies;
- Assessing and managing competing priorities to respond to multiple requests for data, information, or technical support.
