The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Quality Engineer to join our fast-paced, Agile development team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and reliability within our systems. You will be responsible for developing automated validation processes, reconciling data, and working closely with a collaborative technical team to troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies.

What You'll Work On:

Develop, maintain, and execute automated validation and data reconciliation scripts.

Investigate, analyze, and meticulously document data discrepancies and anomalies.

Verify that system records are created, updated, and maintained correctly across environments.

Retest data fixes and validate resolutions implemented by the development team.

Communicate findings, data health metrics, and quality reports clearly and effectively to a collaborative, cross-functional technical team.

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

You Have:

Experience programming with Python including data manipulation, validation, and automation

Experience with SQL or relational database management

Experience with APIs and handling structured data formats such as JSON, XML, or CSVKnowledge of version control systems such as Git or Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts

Ability to adapt and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, Agile environment

Ability to obtain a Secret clearance HS diploma or GEDNice To Have:

Experience with Python data analysis and manipulation libraries such as pandas or Num Py Experience  using modern AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency, while applying sound judgment to ensure responsible and effective use.

Experience with cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or compliance

Experience using issue-tracking and Agile management platforms such as Jira or Git Lab Knowledge  of C# and .NET frameworks

Knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate Bachelor's degree Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
