Department Contact: Dietrich Mackel, dmackel

Oversee Central Property department operations, including compliance with State, University, and departmental policies, maintaining records of surplus property transactions, coordinating capital asset tagging with Sponsored Projects Accounting, and managing departmental expenditures through Aggie Mart and PCard. Provide documentation for auction proceeds dispersals. Manage University vehicle intake, registration, and disposal processes. Supervise full‑time staff, including Inventory Control Clerk(s) and Mover(s).

  Education and Experience:
  
  Associate’s Degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.

  Qualifications:
  
  Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience approved by Human Resource Services.

• Environment:
  Moderate exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
• Physical Effort:
  Moderate physical activity; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required for objects up to 50 pounds.
• Risk:
  Work environment includes some exposure to hazards or physical risks; basic safety precautions must be followed.
