Multi-Unit Team Leader

Overview

Joining us as a Multi-Unit Team Leader, you’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. You’ll lead customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business, focusing on leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving office growth objectives.

• Lead and develop associates across three tax offices; manage staffing, operations, and logistics with support from Associate Team Leaders.
• Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and community involvement.
• Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions; conduct timely performance reviews.
• Collaborate with the Associate Relations Center to address performance concerns and resolve associate issues.
• Build an engaging team environment by training and coaching associates and recognizing outstanding contributions.
• Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to all office associates.
• Create and manage associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management.
• Travel between offices as required.
• Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.

• People management experience with a track record of growing and developing associates.
• Ability to execute growth plans and foster a growth-focused culture.
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills; capable of functioning well in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
