- Implement and coordinate project activities, including establishing the Precision Ranching (PR) Knowledge Exchange Network and overseeing project outputs and deliverables.
- Work closely with project members, existing and new PR clients, and members at the tribal demonstration site.
- Support communication among project leadership, organize and manage meetings and field days, assist with training and outreach materials.
- Support surveys and interviews of producers, coordinate training events, collaborate with federal partners, and manage administrative and reporting tasks and deadlines.
- Required
Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree + 9 years relevant experience or Bachelor's degree + 7 years relevant experience. Master's degree or higher preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Rangeland Science, Animal Science, Natural Resource Management, or closely related field.
- Experience with rangeland management, beef cattle systems, Extension, applied natural resource management, or similar work.
- Experience working directly with ranchers, producer groups, or land‑management practitioners.
- Familiarity with precision ranching technologies.
- Ability to organize events, coordinate multi‑partner activities, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Willingness and ability to travel to remote ranch locations.
- Strong writing and organization skills.
- Environment: Typical interior/office work environment.
- Physical Effort: No or very limited physical effort required.
- Lifting Requirements: Handling average-weight objects up to 10 pounds; some standing or walking.
- Risk: No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
