OT Automation Specialist; TS​/SCI Polygraph Clearance Required

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Operational Technology (OT) position’s purpose is to bridge the gap between the Information Technology (IT) and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) departments. This role’s primary focus is the management of the Industrial Control Systems (ICS) to ensure uptime, use by the O&M team, and enabling the engineering department to trend data to adjust setpoints and prolong equipment life.

• Manage the monitoring, programming, installation, repair, replacement, back‑up, and recovery of building controls systems
• Manage the planning, organizing, and guiding controls systems development and support activities including data analysis and database design and administration
• Identify, troubleshoot, analyze and resolve systems and communications problems to include the support in repair/replacement of component level devices (i.e. I/O devices, modems, etc.)
• Assist utility plant and maintenance personnel with the operation and troubleshooting/alarm investigation response as necessary to ensure the integrity of the data center operation is not compromised
• Design and install minor electrical circuits for control and monitoring, as required
• Manipulate various software used for communications and report generation including creating/modifying GUI for effectiveness in executing scope of work
• Generate reports on the operational status of the systems
• Generate daily, monthly, quarterly and semiannual reports for Engineering and Fluor Management per schedule requirements
• Ensure complete and accurate files of the systems are maintained
• Instruct operations and maintenance staff in the controls and operations systems and provide troubleshooting training/illustration(s) as applicable
• Ensure the access, security and integrity of system(s) is maintained; provide supporting documentation and controls
• Identify and recommend technology (i.e. hardware, software, etc.) improvement opportunities
• Comply with all Fluor Corporation safety requirements and programs
• Perform other duties as may be assigned at the discretion of management

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and four (4) years of work‑related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years if non‑degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Attention to detail and work in a time‑conscious and time‑effective manner

• Must have an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
• U.S. Citizen
• Must demonstrate basic computer knowledge (i.e., ability to use email, internet, Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel, to effectively conduct company business on the program).
