- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast‑paced ER.
- Assess patient conditions, triage, and initiate appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to streamline patient throughput.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality standards with measurable outcomes.
- Monitor vital signs, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team.
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions per protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records in the EHR system.
- Participate in performance metrics and contribute to pipeline‑based planning for patient care capacity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce wait times and improve outcomes.
- Demonstrate adaptability by handling high‑volume demand while maintaining quality care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to advance clinical competencies and certifications.
- Mentor and educate junior staff and new hires to support development goals.
- Current RN license and valid certification (ER/ACLS preferred).
- Active BLS/CPR certification and AED readiness for emergency care.
- Minimum 2 years ER/acute care nursing experience required.
- Proficiency in triage, rapid assessment, and protocol‑driven treatment.
- Demonstrated ability to work in high‑volume, fast‑paced ER with high throughput.
- Strong EHR documentation skills and accurate charting in real time.
- Ability to monitor, interpret vitals, and elevate changes promptly.
- Familiarity with infection control, safety standards, and quality metrics.
- Team collaboration skills and ability to mentor junior staff and new hires.
- Performance‑driven mindset with ability to work toward pipeline‑based capacity planning.
