Travel Nurse Source is working with to find a qualified Rehab RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87101!
Job Title – Registered Nurse – Rehab
Location – Albuquerque, New Mexico
Duration – 13 Weeks (06/08/2026 onward)
Shift – Night Shift, 4x12‑Hour (07:00 PM – 07:30 AM)
Rotation – Option of 36 or 48 hours/week
Float – Yes, to like units within scope as needed
Call Requirement – No
Registered Nurse – Rehab responsible for providing comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation nursing care in an acute rehab setting. The RN will manage adult patients with neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, respiratory, and post‑surgical conditions while ensuring high‑quality patient‑centered care and adherence to rehabilitation protocols.
Mandatory Skills / Experience- Minimum 1 year of Rehab RN experience required
- First‑time travelers accepted
- Experience in acute inpatient rehab preferred
- Experience with Epic charting preferred
- Ability to manage a 1:8 patient ratio
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a multidisciplinary rehab environment
- IV therapy, blood/blood product administration, port care, IV starts/maintenance, venous blood draws, ventilator/trach care, Foley care, wound care, feeding tube/PEG management, CVA/stroke care, spinal cord injury, TBI, seizure disorders, total joint replacement, diabetic teaching, fall prevention, pain management, infection prevention, and rehabilitation mobilization techniques
Certifications
AHA BLS certification required
