Role: Registered Nurse, Emergency Room (RN-ER)

Location: Las Cruces, NM

Position: Full Time + Benefits

• NM RN License.
• Associate's degree in Nursing.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS, PALS and TNCC are required within six months of hire.

• 1 year of ER experience.

• Perform rapid assessment of patients upon arrival.
• Prioritize care based on severity (triage system).
• Collect medical history and evaluate symptoms quickly.
• Identify life‑threatening conditions immediately.

• Provide urgent care for trauma, cardiac events, strokes, and other emergencies.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products.
• Perform wound care, splinting, and basic life support.
• Assist with emergency procedures (intubation, CPR, defibrillation).

• Continuously monitor vital signs and patient status.
• Recognize and respond to sudden changes in condition.
• Operate emergency equipment like cardiac monitors and ventilators.

• Work closely with physicians, paramedics, and specialists.
• Communicate critical patient information clearly and quickly.
• Assist during diagnostic tests and procedures.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Document treatments, medications, and patient responses.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance.

• Provide clear instructions on treatment and discharge care.
• Support patients and families during stressful situations.
• Educate on follow‑up care and medications.

• Handle high‑pressure, unpredictable situations.
• Manage multiple patients simultaneously.
• Stay calm and make quick, critical decisions.

• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
• Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
