Title: Bilingual Licensed Practical Nurse- LPN
Pay Rate: $40 - $45 per hour
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type s: Full-Time or Part-Time available
Availability: Must have weekday and/or weekend availability.
Shifts: 8 hour shifts. Schedules are subject to change based on operational needs.

Position OverviewYou will be providing health assessments and home health visits for our patients. We are seeking qualified Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN).
Job Duties- Driving to patient’s homes and conducting home health visits independently
- Properly obtain and document medical histories
- Obtain consent, check patient history, and administer immunizations
- Complete documentation of assessment and/or interventions of patient
- Minor troubleshooting of test systems and takes appropriate action according to predetermined protocols
- Identifies problems which may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and take appropriate action including supervisor notification
- Performs all relevant diagnostic tests as required
- Performs venipuncture as required
- Complete accepted medical forms
- Conduct weekly equipment check in exam rooms and report any equipment malfunctions
- Code Medical exams as needed
- Administer vaccines
- Administer medication to patients and measure vital signs.
- Monitor the patient’s progress and changes in behavior.
- Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all State and County protocols
- Recognizes situations which require the immediate attention of a physician or emergency care
- Interact with patients and their families in a compassionate manner
- Interact with clinicians, other health professionals and staff in a courteous and professional manner
- Effectively communicate and interact with patients and or agencies
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment
- Maintain the confidentiality of all Personal Health Information as dictated by HIPAA laws
- Other duties as assigned
- LPN License
- Blood Withdrawal / Phlebotomy experience
- A minimum of 6 months of LPN experience
- BLS with American Heart Association
- Valid New Mexico Driver’s License (minimum of 2 years) and acceptable driving record
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 - 60 lbs
- Patient bedside experience preferred (preferred but not required)
- Fluent bilingual English/Spanish,
required - Must be comfortable driving and making home health visits independently
