ICU Director

Lead a 32-bed critical care unit within a 199-bed acute care hospital. Direct ICU operations, staffing, budgeting, and quality improvement initiatives. Partner with physicians and executive leadership to improve patient outcomes. Support expansion of the hospital's cardiac service line. Foster evidence-based practice and professional staff development. Drive clinical excellence through performance metrics and operational leadership.

Schedule:

Full-time leadership position, onsite hospital leadership role, relocation required within 30-45 days.

Role:
Oversee daily ICU clinical and operational performance. Lead hiring, coaching, evaluations, and staff development. Monitor ICU quality metrics and patient outcomes. Manage departmental budgets and financial performance. Ensure regulatory, legal, and ethical compliance. Develop strategic initiatives to improve patient care and department performance. Collaborate with executive leadership and interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements:
Active New Mexico RN license or compact RN license required. Associate degree in nursing required. Previous nursing leadership experience required. Intensive care unit (ICU) experience required.
