To provide strategic and operational leadership in driving quality outcomes, clinical performance, and patient care excellence. This role will play a key part in strengthening hospital quality initiatives, developing high-performing teams, and collaborating across departments and providers to ensure compliance, efficiency, and outstanding patient experience. The ideal candidate is an accomplished nurse leader with a strong background in acute care operations, quality initiatives, and team development—preferably within a for-profit hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide executive-level leadership and direction to support hospital clinical and quality goals.
- Build, develop, and lead teams focused on quality improvement initiatives, performance metrics, and patient safety.
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure care delivery aligns with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Monitor and drive improvements in quality outcomes, operational workflows, and clinical efficiency.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Facilitate collaboration across interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and overall care standards.
- Support quality programs, data-driven decision making, audits, and compliance-driven initiatives.
- Establish effective communication and engagement with internal clinical staff and leadership.
- Active (or eligible) New Mexico RN License (required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) (required)
- 7+ years of healthcare experience
- 3+ years in a leadership role
- Proven experience building and leading teams focused on quality initiatives
- Strong clinical leadership, communication, and team development skills
- Advanced degree strongly preferred: MSN, Healthcare Administration, MBA
- Experience working in a for-profit hospital environment (strongly preferred)
- Experience facilitating relationships with providers/physicians
- Quality improvement program leadership
- Clinical operations leadership
- Staff management and team building
- Provider relationship management
- Patient safety and performance improvement
- Strong decision-making and leadership presence
