American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring an active NM or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

• Work in the Medical Surgical Combination unit of a 199-bed hospital
• 13-week assignment with a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift schedule
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum of 2 years of RN Med/Surg experience required
• AHA certifications required
• Must complete New Mexico state fingerprinting and background check requirements prior to or shortly after start
• May start on a 14-day waiver while background check is processing but must be supervised during this period
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration

• Facility is Joint Commission accredited with a Chest Pain Center offering Primary PCI and is a Certified Primary Stroke Center
• Provide care across diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Located in the Mesilla Valley of southern New Mexico with year-round sunshine and abundant outdoor recreation opportunities
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
