Support patients in maintaining appropriate positioning to protect surgical results, such as elevation of the head or other specific instructions for recovery.
  • Infection Control:
Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention protocols, particularly for procedures with aesthetic or reconstructive outcomes.

Patient Education and Discharge

  • Recovery Instructions:
Provide detailed post-operative care instructions specific to plastic surgery, including care for incisions, drains, and any prosthetic or implant-related considerations.
  • Aesthetic Outcome

  • Follow-Up Coordination:
Ensure patients understand follow-up schedules and the importance of adhering to post-operative care plans.

  • Surgeon Liaison:
Collaborate closely with plastic surgeons to report on patient progress, recovery challenges, or concerns.
  • Patient Advocacy:
Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed with compassion and professionalism.

  • Equipment Management:
Ensure recovery area equipment, such as monitors, suction devices, and oxygen supplies, is functioning properly and readily available.
  • Stock Management:
Monitor and restock medications and supplies tailored to plastic surgery recovery, such as compression garments and ice packs.

Specialized Patient Care

  • Emotional Support:
Provide compassionate care to patients who may feel anxious about their appearance or recovery.

Maintain strict patient confidentiality, particularly for high-profile clients or individuals seeking discretion
