Location: New Mexico
We are urgently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a fast-paced, collaborative Emergency Department. This is an hourly position offering competitive pay, a sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.
The 19-bed Emergency Department maintains approximately a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and treats an average of 108 patients daily, including cardiac, respiratory, stroke, trauma, and other emergency conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, prioritize, and provide emergency nursing care based on patient acuity.
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions.
- Monitor patients and respond quickly to changes in clinical condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Follow established patient safety, infection prevention, and clinical standards.
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Current New Mexico RN license
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current BLS certification
- Strong emergency nursing, assessment, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume acute-care environment
- Ability to start within approximately 30 days
; flexibility may be available for candidates relocating
