Associate Veterinarian

Overview

Veterinarian, General Practice — Part Time: 8 hours a week (Every Saturday 8am-4pm) at Animal Hospital of Las Cruces, Thrive Pet Healthcare partner.

You’ll get to know the family and care for the pet year after year. From delivering reliable care, to preventative visits, to being the first one they call when something just feels wrong.

• Provide high-quality, general practice veterinary care for diverse case mix.
• Deliver reliable care and preventative visits to patients and maintain continuity of care.
• Communicate effectively with clients and the care team; be responsive when pets or owners have concerns.
• Collaborate within Thrive Pet Healthcare network to leverage resources and support ongoing professional development.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
• State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the state of hire, prior to start date.
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligibility.

Location offers access to outdoor activities in the Las Cruces area. Our hours are Monday–Friday 8:00am–6:00pm and Saturday 8:00am–4:00pm (this opening is for every Saturday: 8am–4pm).
