Welcome to D.H. Lescombes Winery ~ New Mexico wine at its best! We are the largest winery in New Mexico and are sixth-generation French winemakers whose family's lineage has spanned 3 continents. Herve Lescombes ran the successful Domaine de Perignon winery in Burgundy, France. He was drawn to New Mexico due to its similar climate to his native Algeria, where he and his ancestors grew grapes and made wine for generations.
In 1981, he made his first plantings in New Mexico. Later in 1984, his first vintage was bottled.
We are looking for an outgoing, customer service-driven individual management experience.
The ideal candidate will be able to have a flexible work schedule and be available to work weekdays and weekends. The Key Hourly Manager will have serving hours paid at tipped minimum wage + tips when not managing.

Key Responsibilities:- Service Leadership:
- Provide toptier service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Lead by example, setting the standard for professionalism, efficiency, and hospitality.
- Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Team Supervision & Support:
- Train, mentor, and support servers to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Assist in scheduling, assigning sections, and monitoring server performance.
- Ensure adherence to restaurant policies, procedures, and health regulations.
- Order Management & Coordination:
- Oversee accurate order taking, ensuring all guest requests are met.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage delivery.
- Monitor table turnover and assist with seating coordination to maximize efficiency.
- Quality Control & Standards:
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, ingredients, and allergy considerations.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring all service stations are fully stocked.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations and responsible beverage service policies.
- Administrative & Financial Duties:
- Assist with processing payments, handling cash, and closing out checks accurately.
- Participate in inventory checks and provide input on stock needs for service items.
- Support management with staff performance reviews and provide feedback on service improvements.
- Previous experience as a server in a full service restaurant (minimum 23 years preferred).
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety, health regulations, and responsible alcohol service.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including data entry, basic formulas, and spreadsheet organization).
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Standing & Walking:
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (typically 48 hours per shift) in a fastpaced restaurant environment. - Lifting & Carrying:
Regularly lift and carry trays, plates, and glassware weighing up to 25 lbs; occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. - Bending & Reaching:
Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping to retrieve items, set tables, and serve guests. - Hand Dexterity:
Ability to grasp, carry, and balance multiple plates, trays, and glassware with precision. - Hearing & Speaking:
Clear communication with guests, team members, and kitchen staff in a loud environment. - Vision:
Ability to read menus, tickets, and POS screens, and monitor guests’ needs from a distance. - Pacing & Multi Tasking:
Must handle high energy shifts with quick movements, maintaining efficiency under pressure.
