Household Furniture is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser / Showroom Stylist to oversee the visual presentation across our Westside El Paso and Las Cruces showrooms. In this role, you will style living room and bedroom vignettes, layer home accents, coordinate floor displays, and partner directly with the Merchandising Department to execute new product placements, and maintain inventory controls between the warehouse and showroom floor.

• Category-Specific Styling & Coordination:
  • Living Room:
    Match appropriate occasional tables, lamps, area rugs, wall art, and tabletop decor to complement upholstered frames.
  • Bedroom:
    Murate top-of-bed ensembles (linens, pillows, throws), nightstand lamps, area rugs, and bedroom-appropriate accents for every suite display.
• Merchandising Execution & Tag Integrity:
  Partner directly with the Director of Merchandising to execute departmental goals, including new category rollouts, vendor program setups, and maintaining 100% price tag accuracy across all showroom display items.
• Transfer Audits & Inventory Controls:
  Serve as a key check-and-balance forwarehouse-to-store transfers. Verify incoming floor stock against transfer manifests to ensure inventory accuracy before items enter the showroom floor.
• Multi-Store Oversight & Showroom Maintenance:
  Split time between Westside El Paso and Las Cruces showrooms to maintain consistent visual standards across both locations. Perform routine floor audits (adjusting spotlighting, straightening wall art, replacing missing floor pieces, and dusting displays).

• Experience:
  
  1-3 years in visual merchandising, retail display styling, or interior styling (furniture or home furnishings experience preferred).
• Eye for Design:
  Strong grasp of spatial planning, color theory, scale, lighting, and residential interior design trends.
• Inventory Detail:
  Comfort conducting basic inventory checks, transfer audits, and maintaining tag integrity.
• Physical Abilities:
  Ability to lift up to 35-50 lbs, hang wall art, climb step ladders, shift light accent pieces, and stand/walk during shifts.
• Mobility:
  Reliable personal transportation for travel between Westside El Paso and Las Cruces store locations.
