Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role located in Las Cruces, NM. The Sales Representative will identify and qualify potential customers, conduct consultations to understand energy needs, and present tailored solar solutions, including system design, financing options, and long-term benefits. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing leads, performing site visits, preparing proposals, following up on inquiries, and maintaining accurate records in the CRM system.

The person in this role will collaborate closely with installation and customer support teams to ensure smooth project delivery and high customer satisfaction. The role also involves participating in local events and outreach efforts to promote Sunforce Solar’s services within the community.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer relationship skills, including prospecting, consultative selling, and negotiating agreements.
• Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible terms.
• Basic technical aptitude and willingness to learn solar energy systems, energy efficiency concepts, and financing options.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with experience using CRM tools or similar sales tracking systems.
• Ability to work on-site, travel locally for customer visits, and participate in community outreach and events.
• Prior experience in renewable energy, home improvement, or related fields is beneficial but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
