• Conduct timely and thorough investigations to evaluate compliance with Federal Investigative Standards
• Recommend security clearance determinations based on investigative coverage sufficiency
• Analyze cases to determine the scope of investigations and identify potential issues
• Prepare instructional remarks and clarify standards for contract investigators and field agents
• Assist in developing training and criteria for identifying investigative trends and methodologies

• Must be a US citizen with a valid US passport and possess or maintain a minimum of a TOP SECRET clearance
• High School Diploma and at least 5-7 years of professional experience in conducting or directing background investigations
• Knowledge of security requirements and regulations pertaining to Personnel Security
• Ability to analyze and evaluate complex investigative reports and prepare clear written summaries
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

• Experience with the Department of State is preferred
• Familiarity with federal legislative and regulatory security standards
