Electrician/ Electrician Installation

Position OverviewMaintenance Electrician responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment for generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy, supporting a 24/7 facility with rotating shift schedule.
Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical equipment including generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, and other transmission equipment.
- Work from schematics, blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications to locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment.
- Perform standard computations related to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.
- Use electrician’s hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.
- Support secondary responsibilities such as installation of communications components, cabling infrastructure, and other construction trades as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 42 months of verifiable, directly related experience as Electrician Helper / Apprentice with at least 2 years performed under a Journeyman or Master Electrician.
- Active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
- Journeyman’s Electrical License.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Basic computer knowledge including email, internet, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Local candidate preference.

CompensationStarting Salary Rate: $30.00/hour to $40.00/hour + Fringe $4.98/hour. Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $93,000.00.
