What you will do:

Drives truck equipped with a concrete mixer to deliver concrete mix to job sites.

• Safely drives truck to job site and arrives with the desired slump within customer or job specifications.
• Fills water tank before each delivery by placing rubber hose into the water tank and filling after checking that all valves are shut.
• Per customer needs, driver will place chutes from fender or hanging rack onto the main chute at the rear of truck for discharge.
• Upon completion of each shift, driver will wash truck with a hose and brush, including the use of acidic solution when necessary.
• Ready‑mix driver is responsible to call out each day for start time.

• High school diploma (minimum); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to pass Federal Department of Transportation drug screen and physical.
• Maintain driving record in accordance with Federal and State Motor Carrier regulations and meet company policy requirements.
• Ability to handle cash and make change.
• Ability to deal with customers and other employees in a diplomatic manner, in various stressful situations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization; must be able to read, write and speak in English.

  10 hours/day, 4‑6 days/week.
• Lifting 50 lbs. frequently.
• Extremes temperatures (C or H).
