Warehouse Laborer
Primary
Location:
Mesilla Park, New Mexico
- Loads and unloads materials for sale and distribution, including onto/from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
- Uses hand truck, electric pallet jack, forklift (as appropriate) to move materials.
- Prepares materials for transport by attaching tags or labels and preventing shifting or damage in transit.
- Follows work orders or oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved.
- Counts and records number of units moved or handled, noting breakage and spoilage on appropriate sheets.
- Stacks, assembles, and wraps bundles of materials as needed.
- Performs housekeeping and grounds maintenance in the warehouse and sales center offices.
- Wears company-provided uniform and maintains a professional image.
- Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervising officer at any time.
Must lift up to 60 pounds. Work in a noisy environment and under weather exposure; handle combustibles, large machinery, and mechanical parts.
