Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with applicable regulations, and the integrity of financial records. This role manages day-to-day accounting activities, supervises accounting staff, and supports financial planning, audits, and process improvements.

The Accounting Manager works closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate financial information to support business decision-making.

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses
• Coordinate internal and external audits and act as the primary point of contact for auditors
• Develop, document, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, including performance management and training
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and financial projects
• Responsible for sales commission compilation and other financial and business planning processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements within the accounting function

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience
• Prior experience in the gaming industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting requirements
• Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP software, as well as Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification
• Experience in a corporate, manufacturing, technology, or regulated industry environment
• Experience with system implementations or accounting process automation
• Prior experience managing audits and complex financial reporting requirements

• Minimal travel required (or adjust as needed)
