We are seeking a Construction Project Accountant for a leading construction organization. In this role you will be supporting full project lifecycle for various development projects—from pre-construction through final closeout. You will be involved in multiple active projects, ensuring accurate job costing, seamless loan draws, and proactive variance management.
Core Responsibilities- Technical Project Accounting
:
Prepare and track aspects such as job costing, work in progress schedules, monthly/quarterly loan draw packages, investment reporting, variance analysis - Project Support
:
Partner with Project Managers to track budgets, change orders, and estimated costs to complete; identify and resolve negative variances before they impact the bottom line - Financial Reporting & Draws
:
Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and comprehensive loan draw packages, ensuring strict compliance with lender and grantor requirements
- 1+ years' Accounting experience
